July 09 - Northampton Dragon Boat Race
Chris Has for the 3rd year running taken part in the Northampton Dragon Boat Race. This year the team, back by Borneo Hughes Martell, achieved a very respectable 3rd place.
July 09 - Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo
Chris Lambert has now taken his position as Junior Vice Predident of Apollo along with Membership for the Club and as part of the District Membership Task Force. This is a great achivement for Chris as it very rare that anyone from such a new club has made it to a district position.
December 08 - Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo
We are very please to announce that Chris Lambert has been voted in as the next Junior Vice President for Apollo. This will see a lot of new challenges for Chris over the next few years as he moves through the different President levels and takes over the running of the club.
November 08 - FSB Northampton
We are pleased to announce that Chris has opnce again been elected as the Branch Treasuer for FSB in Northampton.
July 08 - Northampton Dragon Boat Race
Chris Lambert will again be taking part in this years Dragon Boat Race as a member of the Crew from The Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo. We all look forward to seeing the team improve on last years race and raise lots of money for this years causes (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Young Careers).
April 08 - Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo
Chris Lambert, along with R A Computers, was delighted in April to see the Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo take it's first big step in becoming a fully fledged Rotary Club.
The club will fully Charter in July which will make them the 5th Rotary Club in Northampton. This will be a big relief to everyone involved as it will mark a big step in the future of Rotary International and of the founder members.
November 07 - FSB Northampton
At the AGM for the Northampton Branch of FSB Chris Lambert was elected Branch Treasurer. This we feel is a great honor for Chris as he is very committed to business growth in Northampton. Having been on the committee for a number of years he recently saw I chance to give a little bit extra back to the FSB and Northampton Business in general.
Chris, along with Simon Kemp of Q Services, will be one of the people responsible for the running of the FSB monthly breakfast meetings held on the second Friday of each month at the County Cricket Club.
We wish Chris all the luck in his new role over the coming year and beyond.
July 07 - Dragon Boat Race
On July 15th Chris Lambert from R A Computers took part in the 2007 Dragon Boat Race along with his fellow rotarians from the Rotary Club of Northampton Apollo. The Dragon Boat Race is a charity event organised by the Rotary clubs of Northampton in order to raise money for charity. This years charities were WNAA & the Teenage Cancer Trust. Chris raised over £200 pounds himself for the charities and the club raised well over £2500 making them the 2nd largest fund raiser for the event.
The Apollo Team ranked 31st out of the 36 teams taking part. Which for there first entry into the competition is an outstanding result. Though we are told that this was just to lure the other teams into a false sense of security ready for next years race when we are told they have eyes for the number one spot.
The race took place at Midsummer Meadow (Bedford Road, Northampton) on Sunday 15th July 2007. There were also other events taking place on the day and was a great fun out for all the family.

23rd November 06 - Strictly Come Modeling Fashion Show
R A Computers was asked to donate time and services for the Strictly Come Modeling Fashion Show in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
R A Computers produced all the projected backgrounds that accompanied the fashion show and Chaplin's shows. The show was produced by Alex from Butterflies & Alex the Designer Boutique, with the help of Chaplin's Stage School, Scott Brown Hair and Live Effects.
The night was a great success and well over £1000 was raised for the Air Ambulance.
